The WWII revenge movie you have to see. Plan A is the WWII revenge movie you have to see. In 1945, a group of Holocaust survivors and soldiers in the Jewish Brigade of the British Army band together to poison the German water system.
Why it matters: how should Jews deal in the aftermath of the Holocaust? It asks the questions of how Jews should deal with the aftermath of the Holocaust and about Jewish guilt from not doing more from those who were outside of Europe during the worst tragedy in Jewish history. It examines how Jews from different backgrounds and extreme experiences must work together. Plan A was based on a true story and was written and directed by Doron Paz and Yoav Paz.
Great cast. The movie stars Michael Aloni (Shtisel, The Beauty Queen of Jerusalem) as Michael, August Diehl (Inglorious Basters, A Hidden Life) as Max, Sylvia Hoeks (Blade Runner 2049, See) as Anna and Nikolai Kinski (Barbarians, Berlin Station) as Tzvi.
